Halloween Session

Join us on Friday, October 22nd and get ready for some Halloween fun at The Wheel Mill! From 6:00-9:00pm, we will be throwing a Halloween Session including a best costume contest,  riding contests and trick and treat! What? Trick AND Treat? We put our on spin on things and riders will go around to different rooms where guest pros will be hanging out, the rider has to do a trick to get candy or a prize!

The event is free with paid park admission or monthly pass!

SCHEDULE:
– 6:30pm – Trick and Treat (All over the park)
– 7:30pm – Skid Contest (By the Pump Track)
– 8:30pm – Footdown and Best Costume Awards (Fundamental Skills Room)

Public Lands Ride

Public Lands Group Ride

We’ve partnered up with Public Lands to do a group ride and clean up in Frick Park on Saturday, October 2nd. We’ll be offering two rides. The first will start at The Wheel Mill and have a lesson for Beginners (Includes helmet and bike if needed). The second ride will meet at Frick Park and be a Intermediated ride around 10 miles long (Bring your own gear).

Bike Casting Call

Casting Call

The Folks over at Brand Ambassadors are doing a parade around the Petersen Event Center at University of Pittsburgh to support a wrestling event for AWE Professional Wrestling.  They are working with a wrestler and need the BMX bikers, or Skateboarders to do a parade around the arena to support him. This will be filmed for use on the internet.  Everyone will wear black (we will provide shirts, masks and helmets they can keep. ) and get their face partially painted. Below are all the details. 

Seeking 18+ year old  BMX Bikers, Custom Bikers, Skateboarders, and Roller-skaters for an event in Pittsburgh, Friday, August 13th, 2021.

Date: August 13th, 2021

Location: University of Pittsburgh

Hours: 2:30pm – 6:00pm

We will have a large group of 40+ participants. Riding in a parade to support performance at the university and film a video,

Everyone who participates will receive the following items that they may keep:

· $75 Dollars

· T-Shirt

· Mask

· Helmet

· Tickets to the wrestling event

We had so many friends show support for The Wheel Mill during the COVID-19 shutdown that we want to extend a big thank you for all of the support by offering you a Free Day to come and ride at the Park! Profile riders Dillon Leeper, Shane Leeper, Dre Tylee, Nathan Halahan and Lukas Halahan will be visiting the park form 6-9pm. Join us for a session in the Park Room and the Profile riders will pick their favorite shredder to win some swag. Free pizza coming your way compliments of Profile.
